COMMISSIONS
Goldring commissions vary depending on: the type of account, the instruments traded and the market on which the instruments are traded.
For online registration (sign up), a discount of 30% of the standard percentage trading fee is granted for the BVB internal market. The discount is granted for a period of 12 months, starting from the month following the validation of the trading account. An exception is made for government securities.
Minimum amount for opening a Bucharest Stock Exchange account: 5.000 RON
Minimum amount for opening an account on external markets: 2.000 EUR

Transactions in certain financial instruments listed on international markets may be subject to additional taxes applied to the value or quantity held, such as custody fees (e.g. ADR pass-through fees) or taxes imposed by the tax authorities of the state in which the issuer is established, such taxes are imposed in France (Taxe sur les transactions financières); Italy (Imposta sulle transazioni finanziarie) or the United Kingdom (UK Stamp Tax), without this list being exhaustive.
Taxes may also be applied by the external partner in the case of cash deposits/withdrawals, processing of corporate events, foreign exchange for settlement purposes, inactivity on the account, etc.
Fees are withheld at source and may be levied at the time of the transaction or afterwards.
